Excellent article. The only gloss I could add is that it is human nature to try and avoid unpleasant conclusions.

Our current situation outside Israel reminds me of a story about Jews in Germany in1933- 34 after Hitler came to power and started his antisemitic and discriminatory regulations. The optimists said it would not continue and that eventually Hitler would be out of power. The pessimists made plans to emigrate. By 1945 many of the pessimists were in the USA, UK or Palestine etc. The optimists were dead.

What an excellent piece.

A good reminder about something we’d rather forget.

Excellent piece with only one bone to pick. When you discuss October 7th and write, "This time, it's the Jews' fault," one must realize that throughout history it has ALWAYS been the Jews fault. That is the premise and basis for historical and present day antisemitism. To wit: Jews killed Christ; Jews are wealthy and oppress the poor; Jews are capitalists and own the world's wealth; Jews are socialists and communists and seek to destroy society; Jews control and manipulate governments for their own purposes; Jews manufacture and create disease with which to infect the world; Jews are responsible for "Replacement Theory" whereby we cause multitudes of illegal immigrants to flood America and displace white folk; Jews are colonizers who oppress black folk; Jews forment division and hostility between whites and blacks; Jews are stingy and hoard their wealth. Amongst Jew haters, including some useful idiot Jews, we are always at fault in some way, shape, or form for the animosity against us. It is human nature to want to believe the best in others, so some Jews ponder (not you though), "What have we done wrong?" We want to believe if we change our behavior the hatred will stop. It won't. Why? There is where I might lose those I haven't lost already. It comes back to the Book of Job. Job is representative of Jews. Job is blameworthy and ponders why he suffers so, looks for reasons as do his friends. What he does not know is that Satan has told G-d he will cause Job to suffer to prove the only reason Job worships G-d is because he lavishes gifts and benefits upon him. So G-d allows Satan to have his way with Job, with the only restriction being Satan cannot kill Job. Satan turns men's hearts and reason against Jews and afflicts us, causes nations to lose their minds, but G-d forbids Satan to destroy us. At some point this will end, as it did with Job. G-d protects us from Satan and as with Job, has given us the strength, patience, and resolve to survive, endure, and hope for better days.

As Ramadan approaches and the war against Hamas continues, look for pressure to mount on Israel to agree to a “temporary” ceasefire out of respect to Muslims’ religious sensibilities.

The answer should be a reminder that the Yom Kippur War of 1973 was launched during Ramadan - as Islam has no leap year, its holidays move around the entire calendar which is why this year Ramadan is in March but in 1973 was in late September-October.

Also, under the Muslim Brotherhood’s theology, one gains special favor if you die fighting for Allah during Ramadan.

So look to people like Albanese and other Hamas/Iran fellow travelers to suddenly find religion as an excuse for throwing Hamas a lifelong to live and fight another day - even if such sensibilities won’t spill over to allowing Jews to pray on the Temple Mount. Logic or uniform standards of conduct has never been their strong point.

These death cultists are going to be eradicated. When they are a footnote in history we are going to rebuild the Temple after carefully removing the temporary buildings that were put there as a placeholder.

Additionally, it appears to be a selfish (narcissistic) reason. Reviewing the planned wars of the US past, lengthy reluctance was placed on US entrance into WWII. Concern for Europe was out of mind. And other wars were fought for the benefit of the government or country not for sympathetic or empathetic reasons. However, Jewish objections and disagreements and (now)wars have been rooted in treating others as a self wanted to be treated. So when someone wants to hate and hurt others, it ends up being “antisemitic” because no one else cares except Jewish people.

It looks as though, similar to the fact that Israel alone fought the terrorists, in contradistinction to all other countries of the world, so in history, other peoples have not fought against evil governments, and by pacifying and joining them have been annihilated destroyed. No one else apparently has or has had the courage to stand against them or the likes of them. That seems why “hatred” is directed toward Israel, and called antisemitism.
