I’m not even Jewish and I find these messages similar to my own Christian faith. Thank you for sharing.

That is what the medrash means, in my opinion, about Avraham Avinu realizing, step by step, that G-d could not be anything within the Universe (like the sun etc.) and had to be outside it. That is, the infinite n-th dimension.

Great piece Yaacov. I like how you framed the idea that we are unable to truly comprehend creation being that we are a part of creation.

The beginning of your piece reminded me of the part in God in Search of Man where he talks about wonder. “Modern man fell into the trap of believing that everything can be explained, that reality is a simple affair which has only to be organized in order to be mastered. All enigmas can be solved, and all wonder is nothing but “the effect of novelty upon ignorance.”

The Trump picture is epic. Also Percy Jackson is the best source of Greek mythology, everyone knows that.

Thanks so much! God in Search of Man is one of my favorite books, so I'm sure his themes randomly pop up in my writing.

Despite most of this being “intuitive to us” it was a refreshing reminder. One only need to look at the foreword of the Mesillas Yeshorim to see how important those are. Your “harping on” has reoriented my thinking to gear up and focus on the relevant matters to the coming days ahead and has given me a throwback to the Percy Jackson days. (Honest and quite funny footnote)
